Reach Truck Driver – Night shift
Location: Newmarket Depot
Salary: £44,477.16 per annum + Overtime (all breaks paid)
Shift Pattern: Night shift 52.5hrs per week, Sunday – Thursday, Working 10.5 hours per night, 18:00 – 04:30.
About the Role:
Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Reach Truck Driver to join our busy Warehouse team at our Newmarket depot. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards of work, and brings a strong “can do” attitude to the team.
Turners (Soham) Ltd are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our fast-paced Coldstore Department based at our Newmarket depot.
With the full support of our friendly Coldstore Office, you can expect to gain a good understanding of the warehouse supply chain procedures and improve your skills within the department and company.
Reach Truck Driver duties include:
• Operating a Heated Reach Truck within frozen storage areas with temperatures reaching -18° C
• Stacking and unstacking pallets on mobile racking with maximum working heights of 14m / 45’
• Using a warehouse management system to log stocks’ location and confirming orders for dispatch
• Working as part of a team to ensure the flow of customers’ products in and out of the supply chain
• Other duties may include some picking of stock that requires assembling pallets of multiple products
• Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
• Adhering to the Health & Safety Legislation, ensuring highest level of tidiness and cleanliness.
Ideal Candidate:
• Able to work consistently to a high standard without constant supervision.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and dependable.
• Holds a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence with relevant experience.
