The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday with voluntary additional weekend shifts available. This position will also suit drivers who would like nights out.

We welcome drivers with previous experience on powder tankers, however this is not essential as full training will be given. A CE licence is essential.

Bicker - Traffic Operator - Night Shift

Working within a busy Traffic Office the main responsibilities will include cost effectively planning and routing vehicles to achieve contractual delivery times together with effectively managing live changes to the plan to ensure customer satsifaction at all times. To actively identify solutions to problems and cost savings in line with continuous improvement initiatives, and to ensure all traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a food orientated logistics business with a sound understanding of driver regulations, geographical knowledge of the UK and experienced in the use of subcontractors and agencies.

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Administrator to expand our customer service team based at Bicker. The main responsibilities of the role will include:-

  • Handling phone, email, and in some cases face to face interactions with customers.

As a professional driver working for Turners Container Division, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent customer service. Servicing ‘Blue Chip’ clients, duties will relate to delivering containers from both local railhead and nationwide seaport terminals.

The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings, and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times. We have night shifts available.
