| Turners have been involved in a
highly successful undergraduate industrial placement scheme for
several years. Placement students are given the opportunity to
work in several areas of Turners' operation throughout their

The fundamental principles behind the placement programme are for
the placement to be interesting, informative, and to offer a wide
range of "hands on" experiences. The departments where time can be
sent are:
- Distribution Planning
- Stock Control
- Vehicle Maintenance Planning
- Head Office
- Information Technology Development
It is expected that candidates will spend at least 3 months in
each of the chosen areas to gain a reasonable knowledge of routines.
Several previous placement students have taken up positions within
Turners upon graduating which is a trend we wish to continue in the
future. |
